Vicki Ward, Eltham MLA said: “Today we announced that the Daniel Andrews Government has granted Eltham High School $3.37m to redevelop the oval, redo the tennis courts to include netball (the first netball courts in Eltham for decades!) as well as a building for changerooms and a kiosk.

“This builds on the $1.5m announced in this year’s State Budget.

“This fantastic news will not only enhance girls participation in football and netball, with the participation of Eltham Junior Football Club and Panthers Junior Netball Club, but also Eltham Tennis Club, Research Junior Football Club, Eltham East Primary School and Eltham Primary School. it will include so much of our local community. This has been a fantastic community collaboration – thank you to everyone involved in this project,” Ms Ward said.
