Murrindindi Shire may announce details of the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer on Monday (Nov. 6).

The matter was discussed in private at a special meeting of Council held at Alexandra last Wednesday (Nov. 1).

The new CEO will succeed Margaret Abbey who in May announced her forthcoming retirement.

Minutes of the meeting have been published at the Council’s website, but no detail of the CEO appointment appear. Council officers have added a note that details regarding this matter may be published on Monday.

“The resolution concerning the process of appointment of the Chief Executive Officer will be published in the minutes on Monday, November 6, 2017.”
