A man has died in hospital following a crash in Kilmore last week. Emergency units were called to a Cottles Bridge property tonight (Fri.) after reports of property damage caused by a fierce storm. Units also are attending at Eltham, Eltham North, St Helena and Montmorency after reports of flooding. Emergency Victoria reports instances of property damage at Healesville and Doreen.
Yea is buzzing with sad news of the passing of Pat Carter. Pat and her family came to Yea from Wallacedale (Western District, Victoria) about 1946, maybe earlier. She retired about 2001, maybe later. More in the next issue of The Local Paper.
