This Moderate Flood Warning is being issued for Goulburn River.
In the 24 hours to 9am Saturday, rainfall totals of up to 186 mm have been recorded in the Goulburn River catchment. Since 9am Saturday, rainfall totals of up to 81 mm have been recorded . Further rainfall of up to 15 mm is possible overnight Saturday into Sunday.
Minor flooding is occurring in the Goulburn River catchment. With the forecast rainfall, moderate flooding may develop during Monday.
Goulburn River upstream of Lake Eildon:
Minor flooding has eased along the Delatite River at Tonga Bridge.
Acheron River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Acheron River.
The Acheron River at Taggerty is currently at 1.44 metres and steady. With further rainfall, renewed rises are possible and the Acheron River at Taggerty may exceed the minor flood level (2.30 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday.
Goulburn River Lake Eildon to Seymour:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Goulburn River Lake Eildon to Seymour.
The Goulburn River at Seymour is currently at 2.71 metres and rising. The Goulburn River at Seymour is likely to exceed the minor flood level (3.80 m) Sunday morning. The river level may reach the moderate flood level (5.20 m) during Monday.
Hughes Creek:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Hughes Creek at Tarcombe Road.
