3.40AM SATURDAY UPDATE

• Assistance has been called at approx. 3.30am, Saturday after flooding on the Midland Link Hwy, north of Maindample.

• There have been a number of flooding reports at Mansfield since midnight.

• Stream rises are occurring in the Goulburn River catchment with minor flooding developing along the Hughes Creek at Tarcombe Road during Friday evening. With the forecast rainfall additional areas of minor flooding may develop across the weekend. The Hughes Creek at Tarcombe Road exceeded the minor flood level (2.0 m) during Friday evening.

• VicRoads has issued an advisory for the Taggerty-Thotnton Rd, from the oulburn Valley Highway Service Road to Rubicon Road, Thornton.

• Between Tallarook and Tallarook, roads are closed due to flooding near Landscape Rd. Detour is through Seymour via the Hume Fwy and Goulburn Valley Hwy. Never drive through flood waters.
