Plan to reconstruct Glenburn Roadhouse
Saturday, January 20, 2018
Murrindindi Shire Councillors will this week consider a plan to reconstruct the Glenburn Roadhouse, south of Yea.
A planning permit application is due to be discussed at the Council meeting to be held at 6pm on Wednesday (Jan. 24) at the Yea Council chambers.
“The redevelopment will result in a better designed and utilised service station and provide a positive economic benefit for the broader area,” says a report from a Shire officer to Councillors.
Under the proposal, there will be increased setback of the service station by 15 metres. New bowsers will replace existing bowsers, at their current location. A 70-kilolitre above-ground diesel fuel tank is proposed.
