‘The Inaccurate One’ gets it wrong AGAIN … and AGAIN
Wednesday, September 5, 2018
A Kinglake blogger – ‘The Inaccurate One’ – has reported that The Local Paper has applied for a $16 million government grant. WRONG.
The blogger says Local Media proprietor Ash Long had owned Alexandra Newspapers Pty Ltd. WRONG.
The blogger says Long has never been a journalist. WRONG. Long was an A-Grade journalist with Leader Newspapers, and a member of the Australian Journalists’ Association. He was employed as Editor of a number of Leader Newspapers; the Bacchus-Marsh-Melton Express; the Western News; Publisher of The Canberra Weekly; and owner of a number of other publications
The same blogger accuses The Local Paper of lifting code from his website. WRONG. The Local Paper, like 60 million other websites, uses WordPress. It uses the Giornalismo theme, with the permission of web dedveloper Jacob Martella.
The blogger says The Local Paper “earns over $50,000 per month in ad revenue”. WRONG.
The blogger says that Long has refused to comment. WRONG. Long has responded promptly to three requests for comment. All remain unpublished by the blogger.
The blogger says The Local Paper has refused to employ him. That’s about the only thing he has CORRECT. Who would want to work with a malicious clown, who by age 40, still cannot get even basic facts right?
UPDATE
10.45pm Wednesday Update. Yet again, the pathetic website author has deleted his defamatory posts when proved incorrect. No courage, no honour, no hope for Pissant Press.
