BUXTON: A man in his 50s from Lilydale has been airlifted to the Alfred Hospital, with a serious gunshot wound to the leg.

Crime Watch Victoria reports that a man is in custody, with detectives and other police remaining at the Maroondah Hwy scene, investigating.

The Herald Sun reports: “A 49-year-old Buxton man, believed to be the brother of the injured man, did not sustain any injuries and was arrested at the scene. He remains in police custody..”

“It’s believed this all stems from a family dispute,” Crime Watch Victoria reports.
