Total Fire Ban as local temperatures soar

Yea and Alexandra can expect maximum temperatures of 41° on Friday (Jan. 4), with a high of 44° listed for Seymour.
Weather.com lists maximums for Kinglake (39°) and Whittlesea (40°).
Friday has been declared a day of Total Fire Ban across Victoria.
No fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air from 12.01am until 11.59pm on Friday.
A Total Fire Ban is declared for the district by CFA on days when fires are likely to spread rapidly and could be difficult to control.
