Local people made their way to Thornton Caravan Park on Saturday (Jan. 12) for a Motor Show and Fete in aid of the Narbieview Wildlife Shelter.

There were a number of stalls, as well as a raffle, plant and craft stalls, and a barbecue staffed by Thornton CFA local volunteers.

Organiser Sherrie Scott said the funds would go towards building a cover over the wombat enclosures, and towards orphaned and injured wildlife.
