Sad news reaches us of the passing of Phil Sartori. He was Alexandra through and through.

He attended school in Alex., played junior football in Alex., and gave a lifetime of community service to Alex.

Phil reminded us last year that we first met, some 35 years ago, in our early news and sports coverage of Yea and Alexandra events. He recalled his great friendship with the late Det. Sgt. Ian ‘Columbo’ Welch.
