Physical works to improve the Yea recreation Reserve change rooms will be deferred until the completion of the 2019 football season, Murrindindi Shire Council advises.

The decision follows consultation with the user groups. Preliminary work such as design will continue.

“Council obtained grant funding for additional upgrade works,” says the agenda for Wednesday’s meeting of Council due to be held in Yea.

Northern Victoria MLC Jaclyn Symes, accompanied by Labor candidate Sally Brennan, made the promise of $234,000 extra funding just prior to the November 24 State election.
