Saturday night seen the Upper Goulburn Australian Deer Association hold its annual presentation dinner at the Buxton Hotel.

It was a full house and once again Lynda, Biscuit and the team did a magnificent job with the smorgasbord meal.

The presentation started with acknowledgements to major sponsor Mansfield Hunting and Fishing, and the committee.

The club attendance raffle was drawn. Winners were: $1000 voucher MHF Andy Friedel, 2nd Ritchie Timms $500 voucher MHF, 3rd Sarah Wynd $200 voucher MHF.

The best hand held live deer photo was taken by Mick O’Toole, best trail cam picture Sarah Wynd, first deer award to Jana Andreou.

Inductees to the Honour Board were Ian Fletcher. Matt Rogers and Dakin Thexton for outstanding commitments to the club.

Two members received recognition acknowledgement awards for the Arthur Bentley Award for biggest Sambar Deer taken in Australia for that particular year: Phil Rogers, and Sarah Wynd, first female recipient.

Best Fallow Stag for the year went to Ritchie Timms, best Sambar taken stalking Rod Jones runner up, Andy Friedel. Best Sambar Stag taken off the hounds, the Dillon Taylour Memorial Award sponsored by Rubicon Cable Compan, went to Nigel Hall, and runner-up Cameron Webb.

There was a door prize for the evening a voucher from MHF again for $500: this was one by Daniel Williamson. A great night waa had by all.
