Big agenda for Australia Day


There is a big agenda of Australia Day events to be celebrated on Saturday (Jan. 26).


8am. Australia Day Celebrations. Alexandra. Conducted by members of Alexandra Rotary, and Lions. Free breakfast. 8.30am. Free children’s entertainment, and Alexandra Brass Band concert. 9.10am. Official proceedings. At Rotary Park, Alexandra.

8am. Australia Day Celebrations. Eildon. Free breakfast. 9am. Official proceedings. At Eildon Shopping Village, Main St, Eildon.

8am. Australia Day Celebrations, Yea. Free sausage sizzle/breakfast. 9am. Official proceedings. In High St plantation, opposite Yea Shire Hall.

9.30am. Australia Day Celebrations, Strath Creek. 10am. Guest Speaker: Paul Guerra, CEO, Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria. 11.20am. Morning tea in Strath Creek Hall. Cheese Cake competition. Sausage sizzle, morning tea. At Pioneer Reserve.

9am-10am. Australia Day Celebrations, Kinglake. Free breakfast: bacon and egg sandwiches, tea, coffee and juice. 9.30am. Official proceedings.
