UPDATE: A number CFA units have made their way to Murrindindi after a phone report from a citizen of a local fire.

The fire was reported near the Murrindindi River, south of Myles Rd.

At 7.55pm, additional fire volunteers from areas including Toolangi were told to return to their stations.
