Accident scene at Yarra Glen

The sad tradition of motor vehicle accidents on the final day of a public holiday weekend has begun.

Emergency Victoria reports a motor vehicle accident this afternoon at the busy corner of Melba Hwy and Old Healesville Rd, Yarra Glen (near
Yarra Valley Chocolaterie ). Ambulance and Police crews were called.

Another accident has been reported on Heidelberg-Kinglake Rd near Ninks Rd.

Four road rescue vehicles were called to Warburton Hwy, Launching Place, near the Hoddles Creek bridge. Rescue Services personnel are involved.

Crime Watch Victoria reports an accident on Lawrence Ct, Healesville, near High St.
