A drone interferred with fire fighting at Little Mount Buller at the weekend, reports WIN News Shepparton.
Emergency volunteers have attended a report of a small building fire near the corner of Albert St and Victoria St, Seymour. Seymour CFA reported that it was a false alarm, with no obvious fire or smoke.

It was a full house and once again Lynda, Biscuit and the team did a magnificent job with the smorgasbord meal. Some 17 men contested the Stableford Competition on Saturday. With cooler but still sunny weather and the course in great shape, John Tanner (19) took out the event with a fine 38 points. Second on CB was Brendan Chenhall (14) from Alan Pell (12) with 37 points. Fourth with 34 points was Bill Dredge (20).
Whittlesea and Kinglake ‘legends’ will play a special footy match at the Whittlesea Showgrounds in a twilight game from 4.30pm-7.30pm on Sunday, February 10. The special event is being hosted by the Whittlesea Football-Netball Club. The Clubs have a special bond, especially after the 2009 Black Saturday fires.
This weekend’s A-Grade cricket action saw Yea travel to Broadford in the first week of a two-day match. Broadford won the toss and elected to bat first, on an excellent batting pitch.
