Two fires were reported this morning (Mon.) at Eildon. Emergency Victoria says that one fire is near Mt Pinniger Rd. The Local Paper regrets to advise of the passing yesterday (Sunday, Jan. 13) of Pete Davies. He was 74. Pete was a former teacher at the Plenty (Mernda) campus of Ivanhoe Grammar School. Funeral service arrangements are yet to be announced.
