Alexandra races abandoned

Caveat fire: Scouts leave Mafeking Park

As a safety precaution, a large number of Scouts left the Mafeking Rover Park at Caveat, north of Yea, on Saturday (Mar. 2). This follows lightning strikes on Friday night (Mar. 1). As at 6pm Saturday, 10 units were fighting the local fires in the Caveat-Tarcombe area.
