Murrindindi Council’s forecast position for the financial year has improved by $2.47 million.

The Council says it is moving from a predicted deficit of $233,376 to a surplus of $2.24 million.

“This is predominately due to the Federal Government announcement that 50 per cent of the 2019/20 Financial Assistance Grant will be paid in June 2019,” says a statement in the agenda for Wednesday night’s Council meeting to be held at Alexandra.
