Action is being taken to improve the poor condition of the road verges along the Whittlesea-Kinglake Road, Pheasant Creek.

This follows pressure in State Parliament by Eildon MLA Cindy McLeish.

Regional Roads Victoria will undertake sealing works on the shoulders adjacent to the bakery, post office and hardware store, as well as the bus stop on the southern side of the road.

Works are scheduled to be completed by the end of August.

“Keeping our roads in good repair is an important safety issue and I will continue to advocate for road maintenance and improvements throughout my electorate,” Ms McLeish said.
