Emergency personnel are on their way to a road accident scene in North St, Yea. The accident was reported at approx. 11m Friday (Oct. 25).
Traffic has been reduced to one-lane on the Maroondah Hwy this morning at Dom Dom Saddle, Healesville-bound, after a semi-trailer left the roadway. Rainy weather has made road conditions difficult throughout the region. The highway is expected to be closed in both directions when recovery of the truck takes place today (Fri.).

Former Murrindindi Shire Councillor Chris Healy was today (Mon.) ordered to pat $35,000 costs and $7500 fine after four charges prsoecuted by the Local Government Inspectorate were found proven. Mr Healy appealed the Magistrates’ Court decision, and the penalties were today issued by Judge Higham. Mr Healy will not be convicted.
