Monies totalling $90,200 have been diverted from King Parrot Creek Road improvements to a project at Rubicon.

As its last item at its December 18 meeting, Murrindindi Council closed its proceedings to the public, and voted to accept the tender from Fineblade Pty Ltd, for the lump sum price of $902,841.72 (including GST), for works at Rubicon Rd, Rubicon.

The motion was proposed by Crs Eric Lording and Sandice McAulay.

There was also the approval of a contingency amount, and the transfer of $90,200 of Council’s contribution from King Parrot Creek Road improvements to this project.

Regional Roads Victoria approved a transfer of $180,400 (including GST) from
King Parrot Creek Road Improvements to this project.

Also approved was the transfer of $111,500 (including GST) from the shoulder resheeting program budget to this project.
