Yea netballers at top of AFL Outer East statistics

Yea netballers were the best Division 2 teams, of all sides, according to an AFL Outer East analysis published this week.

Yea was placed fifth of all 27 netball team in the study, having been in eight final series, and winning two premierships.

The netball ladder includes teams in each of the Premier League, Division One and Division Two competitions. The study compared netball ladder positions over the 2010-2019 decade.

Statistical adjustments had to be made because some clubs were formerly in the SEFNL competition, and pre-2013 records were unavailable.

Olinda-Ferny Creek was judged to be top performing side overall, having six final series performances, and four premierships.
