Murrindindi Shire Council will announce its Australia Day awardees this Wednesday morning (Jan. 22), ahead of the ceremonies to be conducted in seven locations on Sunday (Jan. 26).

The change of procedure will ensure that family and friends of the awardees have the opportunity of being in attendance at the ceremonies. Events are being held at Alexandra, Eildon, Flowerdale, Kinglake, Marysville, Strath Creek and Yea.

The Local Paper website and social media will have details of the awards on Wednesday morning (Jan. 22).
