A tender for the female friendly change rooms, and the renewal and upgrade of the disabled toilet at the Yea Recreation Reserve, was authorised at the January 22 meeting of Murrindindi Shire Council.

Councillors voted unanimously to support a motion from Crs Eric Lording and Bec Bowles to accept the tender for the lump sum price of $215,711.10 (inclunding GST) from Ferrum Group Pty Ltd.

This is part of the improvement to home and away change room amenities at the Yea Recreation Reserve, canvassed prior to the 2018 state elections.

Allocation of a contingency amount has been authorised by the Council.
