Incorrect figures issued: virus cases now 147

Incorrect statistics issued by the Department of Health early Wednesday (Apr. 8) led politicians and media outlets to underestimate Coronavirus cases in the North-East. Monday: 8 new local cases

Sunday: 9 new cases in NE region

There were 20- new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Victoria in the past 24 hours. Nine of the 20 were from the North-East region. Lake Eildon closed

Goulburn Murray Water has closed all access to its lakes, dams and reservoirs. This includes access to public facilities such as amenity blocks, picnic areas, playgrounds and boat ramps.
