6.30AM TUESDAY:

Kangaroo Ground-Wattle Glen Road remains closed in both directions between Kangaroo Ground-St Andrews Road and Main Hurstbridge Road following a serious collision late yesterday.

Motorists should plan to detour via Eltham or through Hurstbridge and Panton Hill. The detours will add significant time to the journey.

There is limited access for local traffic via Main Hurstbridge Road only.

This closure is under Victoria Police control. The road will re-open when investigations are complete and it’s safe to do so.
