DIAMOND VALLEY: Liscombe House re-opens

The Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria has reopened its aged care home, Liscombe House, at St Helena, on Friday (July 3).

The home took the precaution of closing the aged care facility on Thursday after a staff member tested inconclusive to a COVID-19 test.

The home had written confirmation – as did the Department of Health and Human Services – that the test was negative.

Upon advice from the DHHS, OCAV reopened the facility.

No other resident or staff member had shown any symptoms of COVID-19. The Home was in touch with families regarding the re-opening.

Liscombe House is managed by the Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria . There are 81 residents living at Liscombe House. OCAV was founded over 150 years ago.
