HUME: Kindergarten for Kalkallo

A one-room relocatable modular kindergarten for Kalkallo has been offered to Hume Council by James Merlino, Minister for Education and Emergency Services.
This week’s Council meeting (Mon., July 13) was advised that Hector Gaston, Hume City’s Director Community Services, had written to accept the offer made by the Victorian School Building Authority.
“The delivery of this facility will enable Hume City Council to respond to significant demand for kindergarten services anticipated in the Kalkallo area in 2021 and support the roll out of funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten in 2022.”
