Hume Council is writing to Matt Comyn, Chief Executive Office of the Commonwealth Bank Australia, requesting a meeting between relevant bank staff, Hume Mayor, Meadow Valley Councillors, local business owners, and local community members to discuss the Bank’s decision to temporarily close its Dallas branch.

Cr Joseph Haweil, having declared an indirect conflict of interest by way of close association with the general business item, left the meeting after the motion was moved on the item, and did not vote.
