Detectives from the Clandestine Laboratory Squad have charged a man after they located a clandestine laboratory in Glen Iris on Friday morning (Aug. 14).

A warrant was executed at the property on Edgar St shortly before 7am.
Police located a clandestine laboratory along with chemicals and equipment used for manufacturing illicit drugs.

The 39 year-old Glen Iris man was charged with;
• Possess articles for manufacturing;
• Traffick (manufacture) DMT;
• Traffick (manufacture) GHB;
• Traffick (manufacture) GLB;
• Traffic cannabis; and
• Possess precursor chemicals

He was to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court last Friday afternoon, according to the Victoria Police Media Unit.
