A petition has been collected, with the signatories requesting that Murrindindi Council provide support to an application to VicRoads to extend the 80kmh speed zone to the north side of Nichols Rd, Kinglake West, to suit the Rural Living Zone.

Paul Denton’s petition wassigned by five people, and will be brought to the attention of Murrindindi Shire Councillors at their meeting on August 26.

It is likely that a report will be requested, and that the matter will return to the Council on September 16.
