Murrindindi Shire Council delivered a $1,923,994 deficit in the 2019-20 financial year instead of the budgeted $795,735 surplus.

The operating deficit posted for the financial year of $761,994 was largely the result of increased revenue of $795,735 and increased expenses of $2.72 million.
