Detectives from Caulfield Divisional Response Unit arrested a man as part of a significant investigation into drug trafficking in Melbourne’s inner south east.

Police executed warrants at two addresses in Ormond on Wednesday last week (Jan. 27).

Police seized a quantity of cannabis, cannabinoids, cash and prescription drugs.

The man was arrested after Police seized quantities of MDMA, methyl-amphetamine, cocaine, cannabis, LSD and heroin as well as cash on December 22 as part of Operation Brandish-2019.

The 39-year-old Ormand man has been charged with traffick and possession of cannabis, cocaine, heroin, LSD, MDMA, methylamphetamine and possess proceeds of crime.

He was expected to be presented before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

This arrest forms part of an operation which has been running for over 12-months and targeting criminal networks believed to be trafficking primarily methylamphetamine in the inner south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
