Arson Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Black Rock.

Police and emergency services were called to a property in Ardoyne St following reports of a fire inside a home.

Responding officers were told that a man was found inside the home.
The fire was extinguished, and a crime scene was set up while detectives workws to process the scene.

An arson chemist attended the scene along with detectives to determine the circumstances surrounding the fire.

Police will prepare a report for consideration of the Coroner.
