A number of local people in the Mornington Peninsula-Greater Dandenong region were recognised in last week’s Australia Day Honours.
Honorary Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia
Mr Michael Raymond BUXTON, Portsea. For significant service to the visual arts, and to the property development sector.
Mr Robert Samuel McKAY, Sorrento. For significant service to the visual arts, and to publishing.
Mr Neil MATTHEWS, Beaconsfield. For significant service to aerospace component repair technologies.
Dr Ronald James WEBBER, Mornington. For significant service to the building and construction sector.
