Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives seized drugs and a firearm following a search warrant in Bulleen on Thursday morning (Feb. 4).

Detectives, with the assistance of a Police narcotic detection dog, executed the warrant on Nirvana Crescent and located a number of substances alleged to be 1, 4 Butanediol, MDMA, and methylamphetamine.

Investigators also located a handgun during the search of the premises.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.

She has been charged with possess an unregistered handgun, possess a drug of dependence, two counts of handle stolen goods, and commit an indictable offence while on bail.

The Bulleen woman was remanded in custody to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court last Friday (Feb. 5).
