Monday, September 19, 2022
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for the driver of a silver Toyota Hilux to come forward following a fatal collision in Mount Waverley.
It is believed the male driver of the Hilux stopped to assist at the scene of the fatal collision and left before providing his details to police.
The rider of a motorcycle, a 58-year-old Frankston man, died at the scene following a collision with a truck on Huntingdale Rod between Estelle S and Carrol Grove on Tuesday September 6 about 7.30am.
The 35-year-old Cranbourne West man, who was driving the truck, was interviewed by detectives and has been released pending further enquiries.
Investigators are urging the good Samaritan, along with any other witnesses, to come forward to assist with their investigation.
