A driver was found to be more than six times over the limit after he was intercepted by Police in Footscray on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 22).

Police on patrol intercepted the 2014 Ford Focus sedan after it was allegedly seen driving erratically at the intersection of Moore and Byron Sts around 4.30pm.

The driver, a 25-year-old Sunshine man, returned an evidentiary breath test of .302.

His licence will be suspended, and he is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving.
