GREATER DANDENONG: Third teen charged

Southern Metro Region Crime Team detectives have charged another teenager following an aggravated carjacking in Dandenong North.
A 17-year-old boy from north-west country Victoria was arrested in relation to the incident which occurred on Saturday, October 29, in the vicinity of a service station on Stud Rd at approximately 10pm.
The 17-year-old has been charged with aggravated carjacking, intentionally cause injury, recklessly cause injury, affray, and commit an indicatable offence while on bail.
He has been remanded to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
The arrest is the third in relation to the alleged aggravated carjacking following the arrest of a second 17-year-old and a 15-year-old earlier in the week.
The second 17-year-old boy was charged with aggravated carjacking, theft of motor vehicle, intentionally and recklessly cause injury, assault in company and assault with a weapon, while the 15-year-old boy was charged with aggravated carjacking, theft of motor vehicle, affray and assault with a weapon.
Both were remanded to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
