Police are appealing for public assistance after a distinctive Subaru wagon was stolen in Ivanhoe.

Investigators have been told the black 1991 Subaru L series wagon was parked in a car park in Green St, Ivanhoe on Thursday (Nov. 10).

It is believe that offenders accessed the car some time between 1.50am and 2.20am and stole the vehicle.

The distinctive looking vehicle, with extra-large wheels, was uninsured.
