The Liberals-Nationals have promised to electrify the railway line to Baxter, if they win Government on November 26.

Two additional stations will be provided at Langwarrin and Frankston East. Six level crossings will be replaced, including:

• Wickham Rd (Highett)
• Highett Rd (Highett)
• McDonald St (Mordialloc)
• Bear St (Mordialloc)
• Station St (Aspendale)
• Groves St (Aspendale)
• Armstrongs Rd (Seaford)
• Station St (Seaford)

At Latrobe St (Mentone) the Liberals and Nationals say they have worked with the local community.

“Unlike Labor who say they want to remove this crossing, but in fact will permanently close it, we will keep Latrobe St open and not force a closure of this road on locals against their wishes,” said a Coalition representative.
