Brimbank Embona detectives have charged a man following an armed robbery in Deer Park.

It is alleged a man attended a service station on Ballarat Rd.

The man allegedly produced a knife and threated an attendant before allegedly fleeing with a quantity of cash.

A 34-year-old Craigieburn was arrested and appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.

He was remanded in custody to reappear in court at a later date.
