GREATER DANDENONG: Stolen car at Springvale

Monash Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a teenager after an allegedly stolen vehicle was spotted in Springvale last Wednesday (June 28).
Police observed the car driving around Springvale about 11.15am.
The vehicle was allegedly stolen during an aggravated burglary in Mulgrave on Monday (June 27).
With assistance from the Air Wing, it was located stationary on Kemp St.
Multiple Police units cordoned off the area as the female driver allegedly failed to get out of the car.
Officers challenged the driver again, before she exited the vehicle and was arrested at the scene. There were no injuries.
Police searched the vehicle and say that located a meat cleaver in the back.
The 17-year-old Mulgrave girl has been charged with a number of offences including aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, obtaining property by deception and possessing a weapon.
She will appear at a children’s court at a later date.
Police are continuing to search for two others in relation to the incidents.
