The South Melbourne Community Chest Op Shop’s latest round of community grants opens in July for local organisations across Port Phillip.

Each year, the non-profit organisation distributes the proceeds from its Op Shop to community organisations across the City, as well as financial donations and bequests.

Last year the SMCC celebrated both a record number of grantees and funding.

SMCC President Gary Hutchens said Op Shop volunteers are looking forward to delivering more grants to deserving community groups this year.
