Murrindindi Council Manager Governance Risk, Tara Carter, is leaving.
Councillors heard last week: “It’s with a degree of sadness that Council farewells a long-serving team member this coming week.
“Tara Carter is responsible for having guided Council’s transition from the Local Government Act 1989 to satisfying the requirements of the 2020 Act.
“She was very well placed having been personally invited by Local Government Victoria to be a participant in an advisory body which provided transition guidelines to the state’s local government sector,” said Cr Damien Gallagher.
“Tara Carter clearly leaves a strong legacy as she moves on to accept a new challenge.”
