Police have charged a man after he was located with a firearm in Pakenham on Monday last week (July 3).
Emergency services were called to reports that a man was unresponsive on Railway Avenue about 3.40pm.
They say that a firearm and drugs were found on the man and seized by Police.
He was taken to hospital for observation.
The 33-year-old Sunshine man has been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled weapon and drugs offences.
He will appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on November 8.
