Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Werribee.
Emergency services were called to Shaws Rd where it is understood a child was stuck by a car about 9.15pm on Tuesday last week (July 4).
Paramedics worked on the child, but she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The female driver of the car stopped at the scene. She was assisting Police with their enquiries.
Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of the collision and the investigation is ongoing.
