Greater Dandenong Council’s immun-isation team has been nationally recognised for their innovative approach to improving access and coverage for priority populations.
The team receivedthe Glaxo Smith Kline Immunisation Award at the National Communicable Diseases and Immunisation Conference.
The award was presented by the CEO of the Public Health Association of Australia and CEO of GSK Australia and is accompanied by a $20,000 grant.
The Council will use these funds to purchase non-government funded vaccines for priority groups in Greater Dandenong.
